Tibetan Medicine Talks

We are currently trying to organise a return visit to York by Evelyn Quek of the International Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM). You'll be the first to know when we have confirmation of this event. We are hoping to be able to combine the Medicine talks with the Ku Nye course (see details below) in the future.

If you would be interested in being part of this event please contact Rowena (rfield151@yahoo.co.uk)

Ku Nye Courses

Ku Nye therapy, from ancient Tibetan medicine, is based on the link between mind and body. Its treatments are gentle and non invasive, seeking to rebalance mind-body harmony. Oils (Ku) and various hand massages (Nye) are used with various other heat therapies including: hot and cold stones, herbal baths, cupping or tapping. The end result is a feeling of deep relaxation and satisfaction - Ku Nye is also used as a method for pain relief.

Ku Nye teaches the fundamental principals of Tibetan medicine including:
  • The study of meridians
  • Basic Tibetan massage technique
  • Treatment of hot and cold body conditions
  • Mixing and use of oils
